Kansas Public Radio strives to provide the highest quality arts and information programming that inspires, enlightens and entertains an increasing number of listeners.

Since the inception of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity in 1989 sixty-eight homes have been completed in Lawrence, housing nearly 163 adults and children with the help of over 3,000 volunteers. One hundred percent of a restricted contribution goes to the construction of a home. Ninety-one percent of an unrestricted contribution goes to the construction of a home with nine percent supporting your local Habitat Affiliate.

The Lawrence Humane society is dedicated to improving the health and well-being for all animals. We work to reduce births of unwanted pets, to eliminate cruelty and neglect, and to promote kindness toward all animals.

LMH Auxiliary raises funds for Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The auxiliary runs the hospital's gift shop in which all profits go to the hospital.

Lawrence Public Schools serve 10,700 students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in Lawrence, Kansas. Lawrence USD 497 is the seventh-largest school district in Kansas and one of the largest employers in the City of Lawrence with approximately 1,800 staff.

The Bonneville Environmental Foundation is dedicated to increasing the supply and use of new renewable energy by developing and marketing innovative green power products for consumers.
